Is Money More Important than Lives of your Children’s?

On Wednesday, February 14, 2018, it happened again: A shooter walked into an American school and opened fire. The shooting, at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL, killed at least 17 people and hospitalized 5 people with life-threatening injuries.

My prayers and condolences go out to the families of those who have lost loved ones because of this senseless act.

This tragedy repeats itself over and over in our country. This happens nowhere else, other than the United States of America. It only happens here not because of coincidence, not because of bad luck, but as a consequence of our inaction. We are responsible for a level of mass atrocity that happens in this country, there are 2 school shootings every 5 days. Rest of the world combined, less than 1 every 365 days. We must take action and address gun violence. Day 43 of the year – 1796 gun deaths and 29 mass shootings. When will our country wake up and hold our elected officials to have more sensible GUN laws?

Since past shootings, from Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012 to Las Vegas in 2017, the chances of Congress taking any action on guns NONE and this is why, because your senators and congressman takes loads of money from the GUNS right group.

The suspect, 19-year-old former student Nikolas Cruz, who purchased an AR-15 style firearm in the past year. How many more innocent child has to die before Republicans really care to have more sensible GUN laws? Unfortunately, Money is More Important than Lives of your Children’s for some elected officials like Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan, Rand Paul, and the list goes on.

Over and over ALL data shows States and countries with higher gun ownership also suffer from more gun violence. More guns are not the solution, a sensible GUN law is the only solutions. Here is the recent data on Gun Violence United States America.
