The submission urges international diplomatic attention to address the severe surge in communal violence targeting religious minorities in Bangladesh and to press for long-term safety, justice, and protection for vulnerable communities.

The recent wave of violence began during the annual Durga Puja celebrations in the district of Cumilla, where targeted attacks broke out following viral social media posts designed to inflame religious tensions. The unrest quickly spread to multiple districts across the country, including Noakhali, Chattogram, Rangpur, Sylhet, and Munshiganj.
